I have years of experience managing multi-million dollar budgets and will fight to make sure every one of your tax dollars is spent on the right things at the right time in these difficult financial times.

West Chester is considered a "fully built-out community", yet more and more high density, high-rise buildings are being developed.
We must preserve the town's special character, promote green spaces and sustainability, ensure safety, and enhance our neighborhoods.
To do that we must re-examine our town's growth and development plans to make certain they chart the best course for you - our homeowners, renters, and business people.
We must ensure we have housing people can actually afford.

West Chester's roots are steeped in activism; Quaker tolerance; civil rights; and social, economic, and political reform.
Ours is a proud history - but it cannot be only history.
We must continue the fight for all our neighbors regardless of what they look like, where they come from, what they believe, or who they love.
Climate change is real. Diversity, equity, and inclusion work. Our fundamental rights are the rights of all people.

I will not disappear after the election is over.
I will hold virtual and in-person townhall meetings, read and respond to every email you send, post updates and respond to your comments on social media, post videos highlighting your ideas, and constantly seek out new and effective ways to listen to you, learn, and then act.

Deep WC Area Roots - Lisa K. has been a part of West Chester (Ward 7) for more than 35 years, working here as a young adult and then making it her home, first as a renter and now as a longtime homeowner. She knows this neighorhood and is committed to her neighbors and this town.
Budget Management / Fiscal Responsibility - Lisa K. has years of professional experience managing multi-million dollar budgets. She will fight to ensure every one of your hard-earned tax dollars is spent on the right things at the right time, just as you deserve. Every penny will be respected.
Extensive private and nonprofit work experience - Lisa K. founded and now runs an active nonprofit partnering with such organizations as the Chester County Food Bank, West Chester Food Cupboard, WC Area Senior Center, Community Volunteers in Medicine, and others focusing on the basic needs of our neighbors - food, shelter, medical, and legal care.
Proven Bold Servant and Leader - Lisa K. is focused on honesty and integrity, action and empathy, collaboration and cooperation, empowering and motivating, and engaging in effective communication. She was awarded the Federal Aviation Administration's highest Award for Exemplary National Leadership, creating and inspiring groups and organizations making significant impact locally, nationally, and internationally.
Deep Understanding of Government Operations - Lisa K. knows how government works - and sometimes doesn't work - having spent more than 20 years as an FAA Aviation Safety Inspector, Team Leader, and National Division Manager leading a diverse, remotely-sited workforce of inspectors, data scientists, and support staff. She creates passionate teams to serve people efficiently and effectively. She gets things done.
